Patrizia is the President of Contemporanea Progetti, company that she founded in 1999 with Eugenio Martera.
Graduated in Architecture at the University of Rome, she worked there for 8 years as a Professor at the Department of Urban Planning. During the Roman period she developed several successful collaborations with different important contemporary artists such as Sol Lewitt, Daniel Buren, Arnaldo Pomodoro, designing numerous art and architecture projects, many of which were published in Italian and international architecture magazines. From 1982 she moved to Florence and collaborated for almost 10 years with the Faculty of Architecture of Florence organizing seminars on urban planning, design, valorization and recovery of public spaces, and museums. Since 2005 Patrizia is also President of the Friends of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence, supporting one of the most famous and significant Art Restoration Institutes in the world.
