Senior Project Manager and Head of the Exhibition Development Department at Contemporanea Progetti, Federica has been working for over 10 years in the development and organization of cultural events and temporary museum exhibitions, collaborating with cultural institutions and museums around the world. After obtaining a degree in Conservation of Cultural Heritage, with a thesis on the Berlin museum system between the 18th and 19th century, she widened her personal and professional experience while studying and working in England, Germany, and Spain, where she developed relevant communication and international relations skills. Back to Italy, following her preliminary working experiences managing private collections as a conservator, she decided to increase and focus her knowledge in the field of Exhibition Development and Design, attending a Post-graduate Master Course at the Politecnico of Milan where she acquired technical and architectural skills. These experiences strengthened her expertise in coordinating the creative and productive phases of a project, as well as coping with last-minute issues arising during all the steps of an exhibition installation on site. During the last 7 years at CP, she has been responsible for the development and organization of over 30 international exhibition projects, contacting and travelling to more than 20 museums in Europe, USA, Asia, and Australia, and managing complex procedures for the construction of international tours of travelling exhibitions. Since 2015, she has been Head of CP’s Exhibition Department, a role that calls for extensive teambuilding, interpersonal, relational, communicational, and goal-oriented skills.
